Il ne fallait pas rater le train de 16h36 \u00e0 Rennes pour rentrer sur Nantes. Le suivant \u00e9tait \u00e0 18h36 !<\/p>\n<p>Il fait \u00e0 peine jour en partant.<\/p>\n<p>Tr\u00e8s bel itin\u00e9raire, un peu de pluie au d\u00e9part, mais rien de m\u00e9chant.<\/p>\n<p>Voie cyclable en bord de Vilaine parfois inond\u00e9e, c&rsquo;est ainsi que de Brain sur Vilaine \u00e0 Sainte Anne sur Vilaine, nous prenons la route ce qui n&rsquo;est pas plus mal, moins de monotonie, des mont\u00e9es et des descentes pour varier le rythme, passage dans de beaux villages, en particulier Langon, le clocher de son \u00e9glise et sa chapelle Sainte Agathe.<\/p>\n<p>Retour en bord de Vilaine.<\/p>\n<p>Passage \u00e0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guipry-Messac<\/li>\n<li>Pl\u00e9ch\u00e2tel, pause casse-cro\u00fbte au niveau de la gare, au pied du village de Saint Malo de Phily<\/li>\n<li>Bourg des Comptes<\/li>\n<li>Bruz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nous sommes vers 15h \u00e0 Rennes, et nous avons le temps de faire un petit tour \u00e0 v\u00e9lo Place de la R\u00e9publique, place de la Mairie, et du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du Thabor et de l&rsquo;\u00e9glise Notre Dame en Saint Melaine, la place Hoche, la place Sainte Anne, la rue Saint Michel (<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rue_de_la_Soif\">dite rue de la Soif<\/a>) avant de rejoindre la tr\u00e8s belle et tr\u00e8s futuriste gare de Rennes.<\/p>\n<p>Le train est direct sans arr\u00eat de Rennes \u00e0 Nantes, longeant la Vilaine de Rennes \u00e0 Redon. Dans le train, nous revoyons donc tout notre parcours de la journ\u00e9e. Autrefois, les trains Rennes-Nantes n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas directs, il fallait changer \u00e0 Redon. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, la ligne est directe, un contournement a du \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9 depuis, mais peut-\u00eatre existe-t-il depuis longtemps, peu-\u00eatre depuis toujours, je n&rsquo;ai pas trouv\u00e9 trace de sa cr\u00e9ation.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut savoir aussi qu&rsquo;il y a deux possibilit\u00e9s de relier Nantes \u00e0 Rennes par le train :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>via Redon, la liaison la plus longue<\/li>\n<li>ou via Ch\u00e2teaubriant, la liaison la plus courte<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>mais \u00e0 Chateaubriant, la ligne est volontairement d\u00e9coup\u00e9e en deux tron\u00e7ons, l&rsquo;un vers Rennes, l&rsquo;autre vers Nantes, un bout de quai les s\u00e9parant, et bien s\u00fbr, il n&rsquo;y a pas de synchronisation des horaires de train entre la r\u00e9gion Bretagne et la r\u00e9gion Pays de la Loire, la rivalit\u00e9 Nantes-Rennes est tenace (dans la t\u00eate de nos am\u00e9nageurs) !<\/p>\n<p>Dommage pour les habitant des communes du nord de Nantes qui pourrait avoir une liaison plus rapide vers Rennes que de passer par Nantes.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1042\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1042\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1042\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/20240302_075749.resized-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/20240302_075749.resized-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/20240302_075749.resized-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/20240302_075749.resized-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/20240302_075749.resized.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1042\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Le bord de la Vilaine en quittant Redon. class=\"wp-caption-text\">En arrivant sur Guipry-Messac, la Vilaine d\u00e9borde largement, mais le contournement est facile, il suffit de partir \u00e0 gauche pour reprendre la route Dans la pratique, le train est direct de Nantes \u00e0 Rennes en 1h16 sans arr\u00eat \u00e0 Redon (en shuntant la ville), faute d&rsquo;une gare \u00e0 Saint Nicolas de Redon.
