{"id":3843,"date":"2024-11-26T20:24:57","date_gmt":"2024-11-26T19:24:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/?p=3843"},"modified":"2024-11-26T20:24:57","modified_gmt":"2024-11-26T19:24:57","slug":"guerre-14-18-jour-20-colmar-strasbourg-90-km","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/index.php\/2024\/11\/26\/guerre-14-18-jour-20-colmar-strasbourg-90-km\/","title":{"rendered":"Guerre 14-18 &#8211; jour  20 &#8211; Colmar &#8211; Strasbourg &#8211; 90 km"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Colmar, le cauchemar des cyclistes.<\/p>\n<p>Rues en sens unique, \u00e0 deux voies, voire trois, dans un seul sens, sans contre-sens cyclable.<\/p>\n<p>Quand il y deux voies dans un sens et deux dans l&rsquo;autre, les pi\u00e9tons doivent traverser en deux temps, en attendant au milieu &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Et pour se donner bonne conscience, on cr\u00e9e parfois des pistes cyclables, mais sur les trottoirs !, avec tous les 10 m\u00e8tres un petit trottoir \u00e0 sauter&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Pourquoi n&rsquo;y-a-t-il que tr\u00e8s peu de cyclistes \u00e0 Colmar ? Une ville plate qui pourrait \u00eatre agr\u00e9able &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Certaines communaut\u00e9 de communes d&rsquo;Alsace sont plus volontaristes.<\/p>\n<p>Faits marquants de la journ\u00e9e :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>la visite du m\u00e9morial de la ligne Maginot du Rhin, tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressante,<\/li>\n<li>la d\u00e9couverte du Rhin \u00e0 Gerstheim o\u00f9 Fernand a termin\u00e9 la guerre, d\u00e9mobilis\u00e9 le 28 mars 1919.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hier je vous disais que le 17 novembre 1918, la compagnie 10\/13 cantonnait \u00e0 Breitenbach, elle poursuivait ensuite sur Barr (je n&rsquo;y suis pas pass\u00e9) les 18.19 et 20 novembre et arrive \u00e0 Gerstheim le 21 novembre.<\/p>\n<p>Du 22 novembre 1918 au 4 mai 1919, la compagnie est affect\u00e9e essentiellement \u00e0 la surveillance du pont sur le Rhin et \u00e0 la destruction de fortifications allemandes.<\/p>\n<p>Le 25 novembre 1918, la compagnie 10\/13 monte \u00e0 Strasbourg avec les r\u00e9giments d\u2019infanterie 202, 225, et 248 de la 60e Divison et d\u00e9file devant le le G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Gouraud, commandant la IVe Arm\u00e9e, et le Mar\u00e9chal P\u00e9tain (Philippe P\u00e9tain a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00e0 la dignit\u00e9 de mar\u00e9chal de France par d\u00e9cret du 21 novembre 1918, 4 jours avant!).<\/p>\n<p>Du 30 d\u00e9cembre 1918 au 23 janvier 1919, la compagnie ira en formation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole des ponts de Strasbourg et reviendra ensuite \u00e0 Gerstheim.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le 28 mars 1919 Fernand obtiendra un cong\u00e9 illimit\u00e9 de d\u00e9mobilisation et rentrera \u00e0 La Roche sur Yon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La compagnie 10\/13 restera \u00e0 Gerstheim jusqu\u2019au 4 mai, puis se rendra \u00e0 Commercy pour \u00eatre dissoute le 30 juillet 1919.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le 8 d\u00e9cembre 1918, la compagnie 10\/13 sera cit\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019ordre du corps d\u2019arm\u00e9e, en particulier pour son action dans le franchissement de l\u2019Oise les 10, 11 et 12 octobre 1918 auquel participa Fernand.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Historique-compagnie-10-13-du-6e-Regiment-du-Genie-1024x472.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"295\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3845\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Historique-compagnie-10-13-du-6e-Regiment-du-Genie-1024x472.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Historique-compagnie-10-13-du-6e-Regiment-du-Genie-300x138.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Historique-compagnie-10-13-du-6e-Regiment-du-Genie-768x354.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.pierre-le-cycliste.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Historique-compagnie-10-13-du-6e-Regiment-du-Genie.jpg 1129w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ci-dessous deux lettres de Fernand, la premi\u00e8re o\u00f9 il \u00e9voque son arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Gerstheim, puis celle du d\u00e9fil\u00e9 \u00e0 Strasbourg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secteur 105 &#8211; le 21 novembre 1918<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Mes chers parents,<\/p>\n<p>Je suis peut-\u00eatre un peu en retard cette fois encore mais comme je ne cours plus aucune esp\u00e8ce de danger vous n\u2019avez pas, vous n\u2019avez plus sujet \u00e0 inqui\u00e9tude. Si vous saviez comme on nous trimballe sans tr\u00eave ni repos vous m\u2019excuseriez peut-\u00eatre. Bref nous venons de traverser \u00e0 pied toute la cha\u00eene des Vosges et l\u2019Alsace en sa totale longueur. Pour le coup je crois bien que c\u2019est \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s fini de marcher car je vous \u00e9cris ces lignes sur le bord du Rhin et il n\u2019y a pas probabilit\u00e9 pour que nous franchissions celui-ci.<\/p>\n<p>Oui ce fameux Rhin coule \u00e0 deux pas de moi. Je suis de service de garde pr\u00e8s d\u2019un pont. Les Fran\u00e7ais montent la faction jusqu\u2019au milieu de celui-ci et sur l\u2019autre moiti\u00e9 les boches tels que nous se prom\u00e8nent par deux ba\u00efonnette au canon.<\/p>\n<p>Cette fa\u00e7on de tenir les lignes me pla\u00eet et je trouve le temps d\u2019armistice pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable au temps de guerre.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Il y a des jours o\u00f9 je me demande si c\u2019est bien r\u00e9el, si vraiment dans quelques semaines je vais quitter le bleu horizon.<\/p>\n<p>Je vous embrasse<\/p>\n<p>Fernand<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secteur 105 \u2013 le 27 novembre 1918<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Mes chers parents,<\/p>\n<p>Lundi dernier nous sommes entr\u00e9s dans Strasbourg et avons d\u00e9fil\u00e9 \u00e0 travers la ville. De cette journ\u00e9e je garderai un souvenir inoubliable. La grande ville alsacienne nous avait r\u00e9serv\u00e9 un accueil qui d\u00e9passe en chaleur en enthousiasme tout ce qu\u2019on pourrait imaginer. Elle est rest\u00e9e tr\u00e8s fran\u00e7aise de c\u0153ur et c\u2019\u00e9tait vraiment un beau spectacle que cette multitude, cette foule en d\u00e9lire acclamant en nous la patrie fran\u00e7aise enfin retrouv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019ai d\u2019autant plus de facilit\u00e9s \u00e0 constater ceci que je croyais vraiment ces temps derniers encore que ce pays \u00e9tait germanis\u00e9. Il n\u2019en est rien. Dans chaque village que nous avons travers\u00e9 des ovations tr\u00e8s belles nous furent faite o\u00f9 l\u2019on sentait vraiment qu\u2019il n\u2019y avait rien d\u2019officiel, de command\u00e9 sur menu, mais le cri du c\u0153ur franc et spontan\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Me voil\u00e0 de retour \u00e0 Gerstheim o\u00f9 nous continuons \u00e0 tour de r\u00f4le \u00e0 prendre la garde au Rhin.<br \/>\nLa difficult\u00e9 de notre situation consiste en l\u2019ignorance compl\u00e8te des habitants, de notre langue. Comme nous sommes log\u00e9s chez ces habitants vous pensez comme cela est quelque fois comique mais souvent g\u00eanant.<\/p>\n<p>Question avenir\u00a0? Encore un grand\u00a0? (point d\u2019interrogation) Quand la paix sera-t-elle sign\u00e9e. Quand serai-je lib\u00e9r\u00e9 enfin\u00a0? Aurai-je avant une permission. Tout me fait croire en cette derni\u00e8re hypoth\u00e8se pour les premiers (jours) de Janvier. Nous en reparlerons.
